The artworks in this narrative first ask: What are you looking at? What does it tell you? What does it tell of you? They seek to be acquainted with their viewer, requesting that one looks with intentionality, to engage in deconstructing materiality and visuality, rethink the social and historical systems that they exist within, and to uncover layers of meaning, contexts and hidden narratives. Here, the artistic course is extended to the viewer, where looking is a laboured process, intellectual and durational.
